risa tsunegi

30 October – 20 November 2010

To mark the end of her one-year MFA Graduate Fellowship Risa Tsunegi presented an off-site solo exhibition of sculptural work that pursued newly formed interests in casting and ceramics.

Tsunegi is interested in the relationship between force and form and their subject to gravity. Her work is heavily influenced by architecture and the function and possibilities of the materials used in architectural structures.

The exhibition was accompanied by a commissioned text by Glasgow based writer Talitha Kotze.

The exhibition was supported by The Arts Trust The Hope Scott Trust. The exhibition preview was sponsored by Glenfiddich.
