Pester & Rossi

Pester & Rossi (Ruby Pester & Nadia Rossi) are on residency with us at the moment as part of our 'Sandbox' Residency, supported by Glasgow City Council’s Stalled Spaces initiative.

Taking inspiration from the lost parkland the Phoenix Park and Recreation Ground formally situated along the canal at Civic House, they have developed the project REC GROUND.

REC GROUND is an open air DIY making space for group investigations into the surrounding environment. REC GROUND will use a series of experimental processes inspired by the canal’s industrious past and the flora, fauna and debris of the waterway as materials to explore collective experiences of playing and making. REC GROUND explores and celebrates outdoor play and experimental making through connecting to the site, it’s environment and community.
