My work is cross disciplinary and concerned with social-political and environmental themes. Thinking about history, memories, dreams, fragility and power, I like to explore tensions, natural forces and contemporary issues and enjoy taking journeys through visual experimentation. I often work with found natural materials creating sculptural almost theatrical pieces with items such as grasses and other foliage. I also work in ceramics and in video.
I recently completed an HND in Contemporary Art at Glasgow Clyde College and am going on to study Sculpture and Environmental Art and Glasgow School of Art. I have a background in theatre, film and TV, both here in the UK and in India, having a completed a Theatre and Performance studies degree from the University of Plymouth earlier.
