Mitch Miller

We’re delighted to be working with artist Mitch Miller and our friends at The Hamiltonhill Claypits Local Nature Reserve as part of Glasgow Life’s  ‘Creative Communities: Artist in Residence Programme’

Mitch will be talking and meeting with local communities to create a ‘dialectogram’ of The Claypits - a drawing that captures memories, experiences, and oral histories to illustrate the social architecture of the area - focusing on the past, present, and possible future uses of the site.

The Creative Communities programme was created as part of Glasgow City Council’s 25 year Cultural Plan to create and champion local art and strengthen the links between culture and wider aims of improving overall health. You can learn more about the scope of the project here.
