Emma Brown 

Emma Brown is an artist but that's not the most important thing she does. She prefers to work collaboratively with other people, to create narrative and social change in our streets, supermarkets, palaces, newspapers and other places. She often uses words, sound, crafts and life experiences, and is especially interested in the textures and imaginations everyone brings to a project. She sometimes makes things on her own to make sense of it all.

Emma Brown is an artist and community organiser. She was born and grew up in Birmingham and graduated from the Environmental Art course at Glasgow School of Art in 2020. Since then she’s worked collaboratively with like-minded souls to combine the lessons of socially engaged art and direct action to help create vibrant social movements and interventions in the public sphere.
