To aim to find and capture moments that immediately engage a viewer’s imagination without division.

Grounded in biological forms and scientific exploration, to explore and develop processes that date back to antiquity and have supported all artistic movements since then. To build upon that solid foundation by applying modern insights.

Therefore, it involves the use of wood, metal, clay, and plaster—materials with low ecological impact and high recyclability. By incorporating modern techniques, utilising CAD in production processes and polymer additives in plaster to avoid resins.

Looking for opportunities presented by the crossover between artistic practices, for example, sculpture and printing.

Biography:

A slow start that started in pottery classes at school (terrible at throwing pots then).
Accelerated with a chance meeting with Vigeland in Oslo and Rodin in Paris.
Used as a balance in a science-heavy learning world through A-levels.
Took a back seat at Medical school, through modern choreography workshops at the Drama Department (while bunking off preclinical lectures).  Dance is a type of 4-dimensional sculpture.
A past time through medical training and beyond.
An acceleration with adult education and portfolio development as retirement came closer.
The throw of the dice to attend a BA in Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art.
Learning how different the world looks through Art-tinted Glasses rather than Science-tinted ones.
Learning to fully integrate both to produce a better whole.
