Join the Board at Glasgow Sculpture Studios

Glasgow Sculpture Studios (GSS) is seeking three new Board Members to help shape the future of one of Scotland’s most vital artist-led production centres.

We’re looking for individuals who bring professional insight, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. Whether your background is in HR, fabrication and manufacturing, or fundraising, your expertise can help us build a sustainable and inclusive organisation that continues to support artists and communities across Glasgow and beyond. You don’t need prior board experience — we’ll provide an induction and mentoring support to ensure you feel confident contributing to discussions and decisions.

Essentials at a Glance

• Positions available: 3 Board Members

• Expertise sought: Human Resources / Fabrication & Manufacturing / Fundraising (experience in one or more areas is welcome)

• Commitment: 4 board meetings per year + occasional subcommittees or events

• Term: 3 years (renewable once)

• Remuneration: Voluntary, with travel and access expenses reimbursed

• Location: Glasgow (hybrid attendance available)

• Deadline: 10am, Monday 26th January 2026
