Glasgow Sculpture Studios exists to promote the development of sculpture and to help artists develop a professional and sustainable career. With members whose experience and skills are as varied as the work they create, GSS supports an exploration of what contemporary sculpture is. Through offering a dynamic and diverse programme of activity GSS is committed to engaging with a wider audience.

GSS was set up by Glasgow based artists in 1988. Today, housed in the A listed, historic Briggait building in the city centre, on the Clyde, GSS is still the only crosspractice facility of its kind in the West of Scotland and its members are involved in projects locally, nationally and internationally.
