Making Wood Work – Tool Box Project with Simon Worthington

Over 2 Saturdays this course will act as an introduction to working in a professional wood workshop, including how to safely and effectively operate some of the commonly used machinery.
We will put these new machining, assembly and finishing skills to work, making our own simple toolbox. The course is suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve on existing skills with an emphasis on learning from each other.
Discounts 20% Discounts are available for students and GSS members. 10% discounts are available for TWB tenants and benefits claimants.
Conditions No prior experience necessary but participants must be a minimum 16 years of age.
Cancellations If you are unable to attend a course or workshop, please inform us as soon as possible. Please note there is a cancellation fee of 10% on all bookings. Glasgow Sculpture Studios cannot refund any cancellation made less than 7 days prior to course start date.
Unfortunately, Glasgow Sculpture Studios may have to cancel courses or workshops. In such cases we will endeavour to contact you a minimum of seven days before your class is due to begin, place you on another course if convenient, or offer you a full refund.
Non‐attendance on certain dates If for some reason you’re unable to attend a course on a certain date please do inform us as soon as possible. This will help the tutor to try and accommodate what you have missed in any subsequent sessions.
Please be aware that if you do miss sessions, these cannot be transferred to another course.
Non‐transferable Bookings for workshops and courses are non‐transferable. You must attend the given course or workshop on the correct dates and at the stated times
