From research that interweaves history, science and materiality with lived experience Jamie Kane forms an embodied practice, to explore our relationship to time and place. Often using or implying objects or materials as a substrate for associations.


Jamie Kane‘s recent events and exhibitions include Habits of the Co-existent, Platform, Easterhouse 2017, Sore Spot, Plymouth Art Center, 2016, William’s Palm, Mclellan Galleries (curated by Grace Johnson) 2015, Life Like, Transmission, Glasgow, 2015. Jamie Kane was selected for the Creative Lab Residency, CCA Glasgow and Studio Projects, Market Gallery 2017, Rupert’s Alternative Education Programme, Vilnius, Lithuania 2015 and a graduate residency at Hospitalfield House in 2013. In 2015 he won the Donald Dewar Arts award.
