Haegue Yang Film Screening
Thursday 28 November 2013
6.30pm, Social Space
At Glasgow Sculpture Studios
As part of Haegue Yang’s public programme we will be screening a trilogy of works by Yang that intimately explore mobility as a necessary condition of the life of an artist and her own personal relationship with this subject. Filmed in various cities including Seoul, London, Tokyo and Amsterdam, the films mix documentary footage (of often unremarkable in-between spaces and objects) with introspective scripted narratives that reveal a disjointed relationship to her environment.
